I remember reading this short story and really liking it.

Even running through my mind how I'd film it.

This however seems AWFUL. Directed by Brother Cuaron.

For my money the best adaptation of Murkami's work is Jun Ichikawa's "Tony Takitani" (2004).

I saw it in theaters when visiting my girlfriend in Berkeley, in a tiny post porn theatre.

The floors were still sticky.
