David Lynch and his lackeys have traveled across the US, and interviewed various people they happen to run into. They film it, and post it on this website. I hope it never becomes too exploitative, but it's a very touching series, that really strikes at what it is to be human, the nature of life, reconciling the past, suffering and really the word that jumps out in my mind: pathos.
I haven't been able to see them all, as they can get kind of hard to take. But so far very interesting. I wish Lynch would drop the phoniness of that character he puts on with the intro, which is supposed to be "weird" and by extension it makes me feel like he thinks the whole series should be seen in the same light, which bothers me.
It's really worth checking out, his minions update the site with a new interview every three days.
Up right now is the story of Kelly Eugene Guinn from Oklahoma. I encourage you check it out.
