"Belhaven Meridian" - Kahlil Joseph
"Friend of the Bureau Kahlil Joseph directed this allegorical short film/music video for Shabazz Palaces called "Belhaven Meridian". Beautifully shot on 35mm black & white film in Watts, Los Angeles by DP Matt Lloyd, "Belhaven Meridian" is a one-shot homage to Charles Burnett's 1977 classic KILLER OF SHEEP. "

New TDB Music Video
Bob Dylan - "Must Be Santa" dir. Nash Edgerton

Trivia:
-First video with Dylan in it since "Things Have Changed" which was the song made for "Wonder Boys".
-Nash is actually the stunt man in the video, and is mostly known as a stunt man, he was the body double for Obi-Wan Kenobi, as well as a stunt actor in the Matrix trilogy films. (Nash's brother, Noel Edgerton played Owen Lars in the prequel films.)
-Nash previously directed Dylan's video for "Beyond Here Lies Nothing".
-This was a 21 hour shoot, that ended at about 3am. I got home at 4, up at 8 for work the next day. Which without factiousness, was great.
-The day before the shoot, we actually went to the location and did a walk through, where I stood in for Bob Dylan, and we basically worked out the effects and blocking.

Coldplay - Strawberry Swing dir. Shynola
New video from Shynola (The Director's Bureau) for Coldplay.
Shynola is a directing team, who meet in 1994 at Kent Institute of Art and Design and began working together. Unfortunately one of their founding members, Gideon Baws, died in October 2008 after contracting a virus that effected his heart, he died at age 33.
