Visual Reference # 4 - I'll Sleep When I'm Dead

Visual Reference # 3 - They Call Her One Eye

Definitely a film Quentin Tarantino has seen.

If you've seen Basterds, the title sequence is certainly the reference for the Hugo Schiglitz title card.

And there are certainly elements of Kill Bill, most notably Elle Driver's Eye patch.

Visual Reference # 2: Ray Tintori vs. Jodorowsky

Jodorowsky's - El Topo (above)

Tintori's - MGMT Oracular Spectacular

I want to start a series on the blog called "Visual References" where I post things, that have since been appropriated in mainstream use. This would be the first post, if I could find the commercial that uses a similar mannequin like face with hair and clothes set up. Is it for some job search thing? Be on the look out for the copy cat commercial, comment below if you figure it out.
