Seeing this video for the first time, was incredible. It really felt almost anthropological watching it, but with enough of a wink that you knew what they where doing. Being a Beck fan I of course appreciated the humor and really fell for the video and song, never thinking that other people actually liked Daft Punk. I almost thought it was a border line novelty act. It wasn't until a couple years later that someone handed me a copy of "Discovery" that I realized it was "OK" to like them.
